Delete my data

Lectern keeps your sheet music, annotations and setlists on your own device and, if you connect them, in your own Google Drive or Dropbox account. Lectern has no servers that store your music. The only data held outside your device is anonymous analytics and crash reports, tied to a random app instance ID.

1. Clear analytics data in the app

  1. Open Lectern and go to Settings → Privacy.
  2. Tap Delete my data and confirm.
  3. The app clears its local analytics data, resets your anonymous instance ID and shows the old ID. Copy it.

You can also switch analytics and crash reporting off on the same screen.

2. Request server-side deletion

Email the instance ID to cellodev@lecternmusic.com with the subject “Lectern data deletion request”. We will delete the analytics and crash data associated with that ID within 30 days and confirm by email.

3. Remove your library

To remove everything else, uninstall the app and delete the Lectern backup folder from your Google Drive or Dropbox if you created one. The app never copies your files anywhere else.
